Project Description:
Vista House, the monument and rest station at the highest point on the old Columbia River Highway, will mount a modestly scaled interpretive exhibit. It will show the experience of the Corps of Discovery as its members travelled through the Columbia River Gorge on the outbound and return trips, from the historic series of rapids east of The Dalles to the mouth of the Sandy River in what is now Troutdale, Oregon.
