Project Description:
The construction of a 3,000-square foot interpretive and information center in conjunction with the Lewis & Clark memorial monument to be located within Thompson Park. The site is ¼ mile from Lewis & Clark's Rock Fort campsite. Both facilities are owned by the Northern Wasco County Park and Recreation District. The center would serve as the focal point of interpretive information relating to the Rock Fort campsite. This facility will also house the administration offices of the NWCPRD.
