Project Description:
The Riverwalk will go completely through the downtown part of our city along the river. Part of it would be concrete to replace the need for sand bags during high water events, part a board walk utilizing piling that has been there since early days, and part at river level so that visiting boats can tie up to it (pleasure and fishing boats have few places to tie up now). Businesses could open their back doors and receive customers from the Riverwalk. There would be benches and places wide enough to use as a fishing dock. |
